IN OTHER WORDS

Bede Durbidge burst onto the Foster's ASP World Tour in 2005. He ploughed into the early events during his maiden year and even knocked out Kelly Slater in event two, The Rip Curl Pro, which was moved to Phillip Island. Durbidge has a potent aerial package that some believe is second to none on tour and at 6’1” and 180 pounds, Durbidge represents the new breed who combine progressive surfing with classic power. Despite not qualifying for this year's big tour Bede will again compete due to Richie Lovett withdrawing from 2006 due to injury. Given this half chance Bede will surely impress and go all out to cause as much havoc as he can.
